How long will my order take?
All Epona Smith pieces are handmade with care. Bespoke orders take approximately 10 weeks. Ready-to-ship items will be dispatched within 1 week of purchase.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Personalised and bespoke items are non-refundable. Ready-to-ship pieces can be returned within 14 days, provided they are unworn and in their original condition. Contact us for assistance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we offer free worldwide shipping via DHL Express, fully tracked and insured. Import duties and taxes for the US and EU are covered by us; however, for other countries, the customer is responsible for any local taxes or duties.
How is my order packaged?
Your jewellery will be delivered in a discreet outer package, with the jewellery itself elegantly wrapped and presented in a handcrafted box, making it perfect for gift-giving.

What materials do you use?
I use 18ct gold, 14ct gold, Britannia silver, sterling silver, and ethically sourced gemstones, ensuring luxury and sustainability in each piece. For certified stones, please contact for discussion.
General Care :
- Storage: Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original box or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratches.
- Avoid Chemicals: Keep jewellery away from chemicals like perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products. Wear your pieces after dressing and remove them before any physical activity or cleaning.
Caring for Gold and Silver Jewellery :
- Gold: Clean with a microfibre cloth and mild soapy water for gentle polishing. Dry with a soft towel.
- Silver: Silver naturally tarnishes over time. Use a silver polish or silver cloth for high-polish pieces. For matte or oxidised finishes, avoid polishing creams and use silver dip carefully to maintain the surface texture.
Ring Sizing :
Ensure proper ring sizing by visiting a local jeweller, as accurate measurement is essential. Alternatively, visit our studio in London for precise sizing.
Plating and Coating Care :
- Plated Jewellery: Gold or rhodium-plated pieces may wear over time with daily use. Avoid impact and exposure to chemicals to prolong their life.
- Ceramic Coating: Ceramic is durable but can be sensitive to perfumes, oils, and impacts. Clean carefully with a soft cloth.
Cleaning Your Jewellery :
- General Cleaning: Use a microfibre cloth and a solution of warm water and mild soap. For engravings, a soft toothbrush can help.
- Silver Dip: Use cautiously on non-oxidised silver and always rinse thoroughly after dipping.
Silver Care for Art Pieces :
- Highly Polished Silver: Clean with a soft, particle-free silver cloth to avoid scratches. Avoid using silver dip on oxidised areas, as this will remove the oxidation.
- Satin or Matte Silver: You should avoid using polishing cloths and creams, as this will increase the shine on the surface. The best method for cleaning is silver dip. Use silver dip, ensuring to avoid any oxidised areas, and rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Always dry your silver pieces immediately after washing with a microfibre cloth or towel to prevent watermarks. A hairdryer can be used for hard-to-reach areas like the insides of containers, but avoid overheating.
